The Members of 100 Kids Who Care Calgary totally stepped up at our very first event and made a huge impact in our community! (Visit 100KidsCalgary.com)
This is a LUH KIF post (i.e.: Keepin' It Fresh - in everyone's minds!), highlighting the amazing and tireless work of Danielle Donovan.
Upon checking out the latest on their website, we also discovered, Be Hip, a non-profit organization founded in 2005 as a way to engage children under the age of 12 in the practice of philanthropy. Over time, Be Hip has evolved, working with 80+ Calgary agencies to create simple ways that anyone can help with.
Speaking of Lemonade Stands today, on 100 Kids Calgary's FB page we caught how one Mom, her daughter, and their neighbours held a sale May 6th, and donated all the funds raised to Fort McMurray. A great idea she added was to encourage anyone else doing the same thing to post the total amount raised, giving kids real and tangible insight into how much they're helping those in need!

This page is dedicated to all of the little citizens of this community!
Li'l Legends is meant to be written for parents, by parents.
It's meant to keep our beliefs strong... that we CAN place confidence in the future the world promises.
With a listening ear and an open mind, we love highlighting children's thoughts and insights, big or small, letting them know that fun and positive things happen when they choose to talk about their feelings, and share their ideas!
